Walking: Let's start with something simple and accessible – walking! It's a great form of exercise that has a lot of benefits. Walking not only burns calories but also gives you a chance to enjoy the great outdoors. Plus, you can walk and talk with your friends, making it a social exercise.

Jogging or running: If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, why not pick up the pace and go for a jog or run? Running is a fantastic way to torch calories and get your heart pumping. Just imagine yourself as a superhero, racing against time to save the day (and burn those calories). If you struggle to get jogging, why not start with walking for two minutes and jogging for 30 seconds and gradually build up the jogging time and reduce the walking time.

Cycling: Hop on your bike and pedal your way to weight loss! Cycling is not only a great exercise but also a fun way to explore your area. Feel the wind in your hair and imagine yourself in the Tour de France (minus the intense competition).

Yoga: Now, let's take a break from the high-intensity exercises and find our inner zen with yoga. Yoga may not make you break a sweat like other exercises, but it's a fantastic way to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and find your inner peace. Strike a pose and imagine yourself as a graceful yogi, balancing your way to a healthier you.

And don't forget to pair your exercise routine with a healthy diet – because you need to consume less calories than what your outputting to lose weight. With any of these training methods, build up gradually so it's not too much stress on the body.

One other effective weight loss method is interval training. This is a form of exercise where you would alternate between periods of high-intensity exercise and periods of rest or low-intensity exercise. It is designed to push your body to its limits and improve both aerobic and anaerobic energy system. It is effective but it might not be considered simple for those who are just starting out with fitness as you are meant to push yourself very hard. However, you could build up gradually with it such as a medium to hard effort for 30 seconds on your bicycle, followed by an easy 60 seconds.

Before starting any new exercise program, it's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you have any underlying health conditions. Now, go out there and show those calories who's boss!
