6 Pack Abs

Your Abs, also known as your stomach muscles, are an important set of muscles that should not be neglected. Getting a slender toned waist can sometimes seem like an impossible task but it is achievable for anyone with the correct exercises, consistency and nutrition. Also, not only are Ab exercises good for toning your stomach muscles but they are also important for your general health. Keeping these muscles strong helps improve back pain, reduce chance of injury and help us perform other exercises correctly. When you choose a program that includes 6 pack Abs then you get access to 25 and 15 minute sessions. With the workouts being so short, it means you are more likely to stick at this week by week. It took me 9 months to go from being full term pregnant to a 6 pack stomach and I certainly had my ups and downs so I know the struggle. Now though, I want to help you and others get to your goals as soon as possible. The workouts I plan are all workouts I do personally and I believe anyone can get to their dream stomach with the proper guidance. How often should I train them though? Pilates is the type of workout that makes you feel great after the session has finished. It focuses on posture, core strength, balance and flexibility. It will improve how you move and feel day to day and it is a workout you never regret doing. ​ It was originally created for dancers who would often have injuries or back pain due to muscle weakness and instability. Now though, everyone, including yourself, can benefit from this type of workout and reap its benefits. What is the difference between your Pilates Core and Pilates Flexibility sessions? Our Pilates core sessions are more focused on the stomach muscles while the Pilates flexibility is focused more on stretching. Both workouts will develop your whole body strength, co-ordination and mindfulness. The Pilates Core sessions are generally considered harder than the flexibility sessions though there are always different options given so you can make any workout as hard or as easy as you choose. Every session finishes with relaxation and deep breathing which helps to improve our lung capacity, calm the body and improve our state of mind. When you choose a program that includes Pilates, you get a new 30 minute session every month as well as all the previous sessions (and there are A LOT to choose from)! Circuit Training

Working our heart and lungs is important but how do we do this without jumping around and keeping it low impact? This is where circuit training comes in. It is a brilliant type of workout to improve not only your muscular strength but also your cardiovascular health. You can burn calories and build muscle all in one and the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn daily even while you’re not working out. There are a lot of online blogs out there that say you have to do interval training or cardio paired with heavy weight training to get ripped or have abs. Neither is true. Of course if you enjoy doing either of those forms of training then don’t let me discourage you. However, circuit training is a great way to get two things done (cardio and strength) in one so is a massive time saver. But what actually are circuits? It’s a set amount of exercises and sets that you’ll work through a number of times round. The sessions I design are usually 5-7 strength based exercises that you’ll work on anywhere from 30-90 seconds. The short 15-20 second rest periods in between will mean your heart rate stays up and you burn plenty of calories. There are lots of options given and there are longer rests when all 5-7 exercises are completed before going again. It’s the type of workout that you know exactly what’s coming so you know how hard to push. This is the workout you’ll want to include in your training if you want to get a more defined, lean look and feeling stronger day to day. If you choose a package that includes circuits, you will get a new 30 minute session every month as well as all the previous.

Dumbbell Training

Dumbbell training is a brilliant form of exercise to add lean muscle mass and strengthen our bodies. Even though we can get a great workout from circuit training, dumbbell training compliments this really well. It allows us to target specific areas more, such as the biceps or makes exercises that more challenging. If an exercise is harder to do then we don’t have to do as many reps to still get the same effect. This means your dumbbell workouts can still make a change to your body even with a short workout time. Will lifting weights make me bulk up? You only pack on size when you are purposely eating more and lifting very heavy weights. It is quite an effort for people to bulk up so it’s not likely to happen unless you were planning it. The dumbbell workouts that I’ve designed work with 12 reps on each exercise and have short rests. This is the perfect combination of muscular endurance for burning calories and muscular strength for giving your body shape. You don’t need to worry about bulking up or doing the wrong exercises when following this dumbbell programs. When you choose a program that includes dumbbell training you will get access to six 15 minute sessions and also two 25 minute whole body workouts for when you want a longer full body blast.
